East Hampton Fireworks, boat yard hang times.
I attempted to dive on this boulder in 2023, and although I anchored the sailboat very close I was unable to actually find it once I was in the water as the visibility is quite poor. This year I decided to try dragging a ten pound mushroom along the bottom from the dinghy and was able to snag it. After an hour or two of diving the rode chafed through and I ended up having to swim after the dinghy. With no marker I was unable to find the boulder again and figured the mushroom was lost, but on another day I got the big boat close enough to get lucky and it was right where I left it.
Much needed short haul bottom job.
Mom came to visit, full moon over the oyster ponds.
Day trip into Greenport.
Glorious windy evening walk in the lee of the North Fork.
Montauk friends
Back to Sag south of Cartwright Island under sail alone.
Peeko Oyster Barn redux, Shelter Island.
