S/V Isotope
Isotope is a 1976 Pearson 30 sailboat I acquired in the spring of 2019 for use as the Simple Machines Research main office. My plan was to teach myself to sail so I could work somewhere with nice weather during the New York winter. It took the entire summer to refit the boat and well into December before it was sufficiently equipped and seaworthy. I set sail with my brother Casey as crew on Christmas Day, bound only for "somewhere warm".
